New post-photography, Mesiac fotografie exhibition in Bratislava
Curated by: Gigliola Foschi
As part of the ongoing Mesiac fotografie exhibition in Bratislava, there is also an Italian group exhibition, “New post-photography”, which illustrates the evolution of photography in today’s world, its relationship with the media and social networks. The exhibition curated by Gigliola Foschi was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava. The works in the exhibition, with the aim of reducing the spectacular aspects, sometimes hiding the images from the spectator, intend to stimulate in the observer another way of looking, no longer based on a quick or passive glance, but involving him to the point of including him in the work.
